Yesterday Eric had a final at 1. I had assumed that he would leave work early and go straight to his final. That is not what he did, instead he left work early and came home and had lunch with me. It made my whole day. I couldn't stop smiling I just couldn't believe that he was home for lunch on a weekday.
The first thing I said when he came home was "What are you doing here?" I don't think that was the greeting he expected because he said "Fine, I'll just leave." I quickly got up and hugged and made sure that came inside before he could leave.
It was so nice to spend half and hour in the middle of the day with my husband.
